Atanga, who lives in the village of Bolga Nyorkorko in Ghana, has been weaving baskets for 17 years to provide for her family. She makes only one basket a day from the vetiver plant. Atanga, who can make a basket, sustains her family of 14 with her labor. Thanks to the African Culture House, Atanga's products are also valued in Turkey. she found it. This step paved the way not only for her but also for many other women in the village to bring their handicrafts to the world.

Tanzania-based Dr. Khadijah Bwanakheri Mohammed has been recognized for her work supporting the economic and social empowerment of young women. accompanies the transformation of life. Through the "Mama Jasiri" program, she helps women gain professional skills, participate in production and earn their own income. This program does not only aim to produce products, but also to improve women's lives. aims to open a new direction.

Flora Kiando, Tanzanya’nın Darüsselam kentinde yaşayan 51 yaşında bir kadın girişimci. Dört çocuk annesi olan Flora, 15 yıldır geleneksel yöntemlerle kumaş üretimi yapıyor. Kumaşlarının her biri tamamen pamuktan üretiliyor ve boyalarını yerel pazarlardan, kumaşlarını ise komşu bölgelerden temin ederek desenlerini atölyesinde özenle hazırlıyor. Flora’nın hikayesi sadece üretimle sınırlı değil; aynı zamanda güçlü bir toplumsal dayanışma örneği.

Darüsselam’daki Mwenge Pazarı’nda başlayan bir yolculuk! Mama Aişa, on yıldır abanoz ağacından üretilen geleneksel ahşap kaşıkları el işçiliğiyle cilalayarak satışa hazır hâle getiriyor. Her bir kaşık, zımparalanarak pürüzsüzleştiriliyor, doğal parlaklığı ortaya çıkarılıyor ve elde son dokunuşu yapılıyor. Abanoz ağacının dayanıklılığı ve koyu rengi, bu mutfak ürünlerini yalnızca işlevsel değil, aynı zamanda kültürel bir obje hâline getiriyor. Mama Aişa için bu kaşıklar, üç çocuğunun geleceğine uzanan bir emek zinciri. Her parça; sabrı, ustalığı ve geleneksel üretim bilgisini taşıyor.

Batuli, who lives in Kigamboni, produces home and office decoration products, handbags and decorated mirrors with hemp fibers. Natural fibers combines its durability with a modern design approach to create products that are both functional and aesthetic. Every piece it produces is handmade The threads are knitted and shaped; the tension of the threads, the balance of the knots and the stability of the form are meticulously checked.
