Emine Erdoğan meets with Women MPs in Sudan
Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Sudan, his wife Emine Erdoğan met with the female MPs represented in the Sudanese Parliament. During the meeting chaired by Widad Babiker Omar Modawi, the wife of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, Emine Erdoğan addressed the female MPs.
In her speech, Emine Erdoğan pointed out that Sudan-Turkey relations have historical and cultural foundations and emphasized the importance of strengthening the relations between the two countries.
Sudanese women MPs, who took the floor at the meeting and expressed that they were impressed by Turkey's stance on the problems of the Islamic world, said that the projects under Emine Erdoğan's patronage set an example for them.
In her speech, Mama Suad, known as "the sage of Sudan and the mother of Africa", who has made significant contributions to the presence of women in Sudan, expressed her satisfaction with President Erdoğan's visit to Sudan and said, "You have entered our dreams, you have come with your blessings".

VISIT TO SUDAN INTERNATIONAL MIDWIFE TRAINING CENTER
During her visit to Sudan, Emine Erdoğan also visited the International Midwife Training Center. Emine Erdoğan was welcomed with great enthusiasm at the training center, which was renovated and furnished by TIKA and graduates one thousand midwives every year. Within the scope of the cooperation between Turkey and Sudan in the field of health, 10 midwives who returned to their country after completing their education at Samsun 19 Mayıs University were also trained at the center, and Emine Erdoğan presented certificates to the midwife candidates who completed their education.
Within the framework of her contacts in Sudan, Emine Erdoğan also visited Khartoum Cheshire Rehabilitation Home for Children with Disabilities and received information from the authorities and was accompanied by the wife of the Chief of General Staff and the wives of the ministers in the Sudanese delegation.
