Emine Erdogan Visited Rehabilitation Center with the Spouses of Leaders

Emine Erdoğan, who is in Antalya with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as part of the G20 Leaders Summit, visited Döşemealtı Metropolitan Special Education School and Rehabilitation Center together with the wives of the leaders of the countries attending the summit. During her visit, Emine Erdoğan was accompanied by Tubeka Zuma, wife of the President of South Africa, Mehriban Aliyeva, wife of the President of Azerbaijan and her daughter Leyla Aliyeva, Rosmah Binti Mansor, wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Grace Mugabe, wife of the President of Zimbabwe and Lulu Gurria, wife of the President of OECD.

At the rehabilitation center, Emine Erdoğan and her entourage were welcomed by Filiz Türker, wife of Governor Muammer Türker, Ebru Türel, wife of Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Menderes Türel, and AK Party Antalya Deputy Gökçen Enç.

Emine Erdoğan thanked the disabled children who presented flowers to her and took photos with them at the rehabilitation center where children of all ages with mental, physical, hearing, visual, autism, speech and specific learning difficulties receive education, and together with the wives of the guest leaders, she watched the body percussion show and piano recital presented by the children receiving rehabilitation training at the center.

Following the performances, hearing-impaired children receiving education at the center made a 'Welcome' speech in sign language, introduced themselves and gave messages such as "Let's remove barriers" and "We can do good things together".

"THE NUMBER OF SUCH REHABILITATION CENTERS SHOULD INCREASE"

After receiving information about the services provided at the rehabilitation center, Emine Erdoğan and the spouses of the leaders visited the physiotherapy and hydrotherapy areas where children with disabilities are treated. Emine Erdoğan congratulated the officials of the center and emphasized the importance of the work done and said that the number of such education and rehabilitation centers should increase.

Taking a souvenir photo with the wives of the guest leaders and the center, Emine Erdoğan also gave various gifts to the children receiving education here. During her visit, Emine Erdoğan was accompanied by her daughter Sümeyye Erdoğan, Antalya MP Sena Nur Çelik, and Hülya Çavuşoğlu, wife of former Foreign Minister and MP Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
