Ankara- Turkish Ambassadors to Africa visited the African Handicrafts and Culture House

Ambassadors of TURKEY to Africa visited the African Handicrafts and Culture House.

Ambassadors, who came to Turkey on the occasion of the 16th Ambassadors Conference, attended the program organized under the patronage of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan at the African Handicrafts and Culture House in Hamamönü.

'IT HAS ADDED DEPTH AND WARMTH TO TURKEY'S AFRICAN VISION'

Zeliha Sağlam, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the African Handicrafts and Culture House Association, stated that this is one of the best examples of cultural diplomacy and said, "We exhibit the cultural richness of the continent at the Africa House with products from 41 African countries. The vision of Africa House expresses a multi-dimensional process from diplomatic relations to economic partnerships, from cultural exchange to development. The difference of Africa House of Culture is that this vision comes to life through women's labor, cultural heritage and humanitarian contacts. The sincere contacts that Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, the wife of our President, established with productive but invisible women who make a living through manual labor during her travels in Africa were the inspiration for this structure. The ties, human stories and accumulation of knowledge established with Madam Mrs. Çavuşoğlu have added depth and warmth to Turkey's vision for Africa. This structure, which brings together diplomatic circles, academia, civil society and business world representatives under the same roof, has become a cultural diplomacy platform with Turkey's multidimensional diplomacy understanding of Africa's local dynamics."
