Emine Erdoğan Inaugurated TIKA Office in Tanzania
Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his African visit to Tanzania, Mozambique and Madagascar, First Lady Emine Erdoğan opened the office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in Tanzania's capital Dar es Salaam.
During the opening ceremony attended by Emine Erdoğan, Janeth Magufuli, wife of Tanzanian President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, and TIKA officials, 25 battery-powered vehicles for the disabled and two incubators were donated to the state hospital.

In her speech at the opening ceremony, Janeth Magufuli, wife of the President of Tanzania, thanked Turkey in the person of Emine Erdoğan and expressed her gratitude for the support given to the development of Africa.

Emine Erdoğan also visited the National Museum of Tanzania, which was restored by TIKA, and received information from the authorities about the museum, and said that TIKA is Turkey's hand of friendship reaching out to the African continent. Emine Erdoğan also visited the Village Museum, where the lives of tribes living in certain regions of Tanzania are exhibited, and was accompanied by the wives of the ministers participating in the Africa visit.
