Emine Erdoğan visits Maarif Foundation Girls' School

Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his official visit to Novakşot, Mauritania, First Lady Emine Erdoğan visited the women's carpet weaving cooperative and the Maarif Foundation Girls' School.

Emine Erdoğan, who was welcomed by the love shows of Mauritanian women, visited the Maarif Foundation Girls' School in the city after the carpet weaving cooperative. Addressing the students here, Emine Erdoğan stated that the Maarif Foundation Schools are the shining star of Africa and wished the success of this educational investment that will strengthen Turkey-Mauritania relations.

Emine Erdoğan urged the students to continue their university education in Turkey after graduation. On the occasion of Emine Erdoğan's visit, Maarif Foundation students performed a special performance and recited Arif Nihat Asya's poem "Dua".
