Emine Erdoğan met with Marie Khone Faye, wife of the President of Senegal

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan, together with Marie Khone Faye, wife of Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye who visited Turkey, attended the opening program of the exhibition "Echoes" which sheds light on the struggle for rights and freedom of Şule Yüksel Şenler and Malcolm X.

After the program, Emine Erdoğan hosted Marie Khone Faye, with whom she cut the opening ribbon of the exhibition.

Marie Khone Faye, who had visited the Africa House in Ankara during her previous visit, showed Emine Erdoğan the African products she had brought with her during this meeting.

Marie Khone Faye, wife of Senegalese President Faye, who noted that she followed Emine Erdoğan's social activities in Turkey with appreciation, stated that she would like to carry out similar activities in Senegal.

Emine Erdoğan shared the following statements on her social media account after the meeting: "I was delighted to welcome Mrs. Marie Khone Faye, the esteemed wife of the President of Senegal, in Istanbul. We had a fruitful meeting. I wish that this meaningful meeting will inspire joint projects and new steps towards the future."
