Emine Erdoğan Visits International Maarif School in Tunisia

Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his official visit to Tunisia, First Lady Emine Erdoğan visited the International Maarif School, which was officially opened on November 3, 2017.

The program, organized on the occasion of Emine Erdoğan's visit and attended by the students and parents of the school, emphasized the belief that the new bright face of the Maarif Foundation School will strengthen the cooperation between Turkey and Tunisia. During the program, students sang Turkish songs.

During her visit, Emine Erdoğan was accompanied by Minister of National Education İsmet Yılmaz and Maarif Foundation President Birol Akgün, as well as Şule Akar, the wife of Chief of General Staff General Hulusi Akar, and the wives of some ministers in the delegation. The program ended with a family photo session.
