Emine Erdoğan Visited Kazuri Jewelry and Ceramic Production Center

Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his visit to Africa, Emine Erdoğan visited Kazuri Jewelry and Ceramic Production Center in Kenya, where women in need and disabled people are employed.

Emine Erdoğan closely examined the handicrafts produced by Kenyan women in the workshops and congratulated those who contributed to the project that aims to empower women economically.

MARULA STUDİOS PRODUCTION CENTER VISIT

Emine Erdoğan also visited Marula Studios, a production center that aims to clean Kenya's beaches and recycle plastic slippers left on the beach. Emine Erdoğan congratulated the owners of this project, which she sees as an important social responsibility project on the environment.

Emine Erdoğan had recently inaugurated the African Handicrafts Market and Culture House under her patronage in Ankara. At the opening, which was attended by First Ladies from African countries, she emphasized the goal of marketing the handicraft products of African women in Turkey on a non-profit basis and returning the income back to Africa.

During her visit to Africa, Emine Erdoğan invited project owners working for the benefit of women to contribute to the African Handicrafts Market and Culture House and said that this project will support Africa's development efforts and serve as a bridge between cultures.

Emine Erdoğan also visited the Giraffe Center in Kenya. Emine Erdoğan, who fed the giraffes, was accompanied by the wives of ministers and women MPs.
