Emine Erdoğan Visited Algeria Museum of Islamic Arts and Historical Artifacts
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan visited the Algiers Museum of Islamic Arts and Historical Artifacts and made inspections.
Emine Erdoğan visited the Museum of Islamic Arts and Historical Artifacts in the capital Algeria. Accompanied by Algerian Minister of Education Nuriye bin Gabrit during her visit, Emine Erdoğan was briefed on the artifacts by Museum Director Huriyye Şerit.
The Algerian Museum of Islamic Arts and Antiquities is considered one of the oldest museums on the African continent. It is stated that the museum was built in 1838 and officially opened in 1897.
